A 39-year-old man was arrested after being accused of having more than 600 pictures of child pornography, California officials said.

On Aug. 8, West Covina police, the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department executed a warrant on Matthew Mullen’s devices, according to a Facebook post by West Covina officers.

Officers then found the hundreds of images of child pornography, police said.

Mullen, who volunteers at local organizations, was arrested, officials said.

Police didn’t specify what kind of volunteer work he did or where he volunteered.

Officers believe there are more victims because of his volunteer work, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 626-939-8520, the release said.

West Covina is about a 20-mile drive east of Los Angeles.
