Storm brings Merced River, waterfalls in Yosemite back to life, video shows
The massive storm system that dumped record-breaking rain across Northern California has sent water surging through rivers and waterfalls in Yosemite National Park, video taken on October 25, 2021 shows.
The rain helped ease a statewide drought that has been particularly acute in Northern California. The park’s famous Yosemite Falls was resuscitated by rainfall over the weekend. Only days earlier, a webcam captured the waterfall completely dry.
This video, taken on Monday, shows the Merced River raging in the park.
