Photos on hidden bathroom camera may reveal man who installed it, California cops say
When University of California police in Berkeley examined a hidden video camera found in a library restroom, they found a surprise, the East Bay Times reported.
The 18 photos on the camera include two that may show the man who installed it, KRON reported.
The camera was found March 15 in a bathroom stall on the fourth floor of the Moffitt Library, KPIX reported. Five of the photos found on it were taken March 15, while the rest were shot between Oct. 15-18.
The university did not say whether the restroom was gender-specific, Berkeleyside reported.
Campus police released two photos from the camera of a man “who may be responsible for unlawfully recording persons in a campus restroom,” according to the publication.
Police do not know whether he’s a UC Berkeley student and did not release a description, the East Bay Times reported.
They asked anyone with information about the person to call 510-642-6760, KRON reported.
