Single family residence in Santa Barbara sells for $4.5 million

A 2,600-square-foot house built in 1825 has changed hands. The spacious historic property located in the 800 block of Laguna Street in Santa Barbara was sold on Jan. 3, 2023 for $4,500,000, or $1,731 per square foot. The property features two bedrooms and two baths. It sits on a 0.6-acre lot.

Additional houses have recently changed hands close by:

• In June 2022, a 1,075-square-foot home on Olive Street in Santa Barbara sold for $250,000, a price per square foot of $233.
• On Santa Barbara Street, Santa Barbara, in December 2022, a 2,352-square-foot home was sold for $3,210,000, a price per square foot of $1,365.
• A 1,248-square-foot home on the 500 block of Santa Barbara Street in Santa Barbara sold in June 2022 for $1,710,000, a price per square foot of $1,370.
