San Luis Obispo County continues to defy the California real estate cool down of 2022.

The median sale price for a single-family home in SLO County was $890,000 in November, an increase of roughly 9% over October and a jump of nearly 15% over the same month last year, according to new data from the California Association of Realtors.

Those price increases are among the highest in California. Statewide, the median sale price for a single-family home fell 3% between October and November, and prices are down slightly over last year.

SLO County’s price increases appear to be an outlier on the Central Coast. Median sale prices fell in Monterey, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz counties.

The interactive map below shows the change in median home values for nearly every community in San Luis Obispo County, as well as Santa Maria. Data is also available for Paso Robles, Atascadero and Pismo Beach.

The numbers are generated by Zillow and the map updates each month as fresh data become available.
