McClatchy launches full-service digital marketing agency
McClatchy announced Tuesday the launch of Excelerate, a full-service digital agency designed to offer local and regional advertising clients marketing solutions.
In a news release, McClatchy said Excelerate uses data-driven principles to design customized digital marketing plans for businesses, then tracks and measures success. Excelerate has separate executive, creative and national sales teams.
“Excelerate harnesses McClatchy’s deep portfolio of media products, services and partnerships to deliver digital and traditional marketing plans to advertising clients,” McClatchy President and CEO Pat Talamantes said. “We already offer many high-end services, including research, media strategy and video production. Excelerate enhances client success by concentrating the wealth of our internal assets and external digital partnerships into one cohesive package.”
Excelerate has already established successful relationships with regional retailers, performing arts organizations, automotive dealers and more. Services offered include website creation, SEO, social media management, video, creative, branded content production and research. Results are tracked and delivered with a focus on driving a strong and measurable return on investment for every client’s campaign.
McClatchy, based in Sacramento, owns The Tribune and 28 other daily newspapers and their related print and digital operations.
Excelerate General Manager Andrea Rowan said collaboration is key when partnering with clients.
“Excelerate delivers success through research, an area often overlooked by agencies. We use data to formulate each client’s plan and continue to analyze that information throughout the relationship. Excelerate is where creativity, technology and results intersect to provide a holistic marketing solution exceeding client expectations.”
