Jeff Thoma to return to Thoma Electric

Jeff Thoma plans to return to Thoma Electric this month, joining the company as a principal engineer.

Thoma, formerly a senior engineer for Apple Inc., will rejoin the family business created by his grandfather, Clarence “Bud” Thoma, and currently led by his father, Bill Thoma, and uncle, Ed Thoma, according to a news release.

Jeff Thoma studied electrical and computer engineering at UC San Diego. He was a hardware engineer at Kyocera Wireless in San Diego before joining Apple Inc. in 2009, the news release said.

Thoma Electric, founded in 1962, provides consulting, engineering, design and construction services for projects throughout California and the West Coast.
