KSBY restored for Dish subscribers
KSBY was restored for Dish Network subscribers Sunday morning after the satellite provider and KSBY’s owner, Cordillera Communications, reached an agreement.
The companies reached a retransmission consent agreement about 10 a.m. Sunday, according to a timeline posted on Cordillera Communications’ website. The station was restored shortly afterward.
KSBY, an NBC affiliate, serves San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
The companies reached a multiyear agreement, according to a news release distributed by Dish. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The station had been dark since Thursday morning, after the companies failed to reach an agreement on retransmission terms after months of negotiations, according to a news release distributed by Cordillera.
