SummerWood Winery partners with charity on specially labeled wine
SummerWood Winery & Inn has partnered with must! charities to produce a specially labeled wine with some proceeds from its sale benefiting the charity.
The wine is a multi-vintage Paso Robles red blend. The wine is priced at $15 per bottle or $150 per case, with $10 dollars from each bottle going to benefit must! charities. It is described as an easy drinking wine, perfect for barbecues or spaghetti dinners.
Must! charities was founded in 2012 by local winemakers and has grown to more than 250 partners. Must! identifies community needs and works with existing nonprofits in areas such as education, mentoring and health care.
“By far, must! is the most organized and professional of all the philanthropic groups with which I have been involved,” said Summerwood Winery & Inn general manager Shayne Kline in a news release. Kline is a member of the must! Partner Advisory Board.
The must! charities red blend is available in the Summerwood tasting room, which is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.
