Central Coast Medical Association appoints executive director

Dana Goba has been named executive director of the Central Coast Medical Association, which was created when the Santa Barbara Medical Society and the San Luis Obispo County Medical Association merged. The professional association of physicians in the two counties promotes quality health care and provides a referral service to the public, according to a news release.

Goba has more than 13 years of nonprofit experience in Santa Barbara County, according to the release. She was community health administrator for Cottage Health and managed community benefit efforts, including grants, health fairs and outreach.
