SLO County financial planner earns professional designation

Annie Shanks, co-owner of Medallion Financial and Insurance Services, has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant professional designation from The American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

To earn the designation, applicants must complete at least nine courses and 18 hours of supervised exams. The designation is regarded as the highest standard of knowledge and trust for financial planners, according to a news release.

Medallion Financial and Insurance Services has offices in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.
