Mystic Hills Vineyard, a 9-acre winery in San Miguel planted in 2008 by owners Joel and Judy Cox, has won numerous awards.
The winery was named 2015 Monterey Winery of the Year under the USA Individual Awards, handed down by the New York International Wine Competition, according to a news release.
The winery won two bronze medals at the New York International Wine Competition for its 2011 Sequel and its 2011 cabernet sauvignon. At the 2015 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition, the winery won a gold medal for its 2011 Unforgiven and a silver medal for its 2011 Sequel.
At the 2015 Los Angeles International Wine Competition, the winery won several awards, including three silver medals for its 2011 Unforgiven, 2011 Sequel, and 2011 cabernet sauvignon, as well as a bronze medal for its 2013 H.E.A.R.T.S. rosé.
