BevMo to open Paso Robles store

Beverages & More is opening its newest location in The Crossings at Paso Robles shopping center on May 18.

Located off Highway 101 and Highway 46 at 2135 Theatre Drive, The Crossings is a 310,161-square-foot shopping center anchored by Target and Orchard Supply Hardware.

The shopping center is owned by Donahue Schriber, a real estate investment company based in Costa Mesa.

Beverages & More, also known as BevMo, has hired about 20 people to work in the 8,050-square-foot store and has about five more positions to fill.

The Paso Robles store will feature 1,800 wines, 1,560 spirits 1,100 beers and hundreds of gourmet food items, cocktail mixers, glassware and other bar accessories.

On opening day, the first 500 customers will receive a $25 discount card. Special in-store events and demonstrations are scheduled from May 18 through May 20.

Beverages & More was founded in January 1994 in the Bay Area. The company operates 116 stores — 53 in Northern California, 53 in Southern California and 10 in Arizona.

The county’s other BevMo operates in the Irish Hills Shopping Center in San Luis Obispo.
