Grocery chain fully reopens after outage shut down SLO County stores
California Fresh Market stores in San Luis Obispo County have officially reopened, the grocery store chain announced on its Facebook on Tuesday.
All stores temporarily closed one week ago due to a “company-wide system outage,” where its Pismo Beach, Solvang and SLO locations stopped operations and locked their doors.
On Friday morning, the 555 5 Cities Drive location in Pismo Beach reopened its doors first, but it took the SLO location nearly an entire week to reopen.
Now, the grocery store chain is back to “serving its communities” after the “challenging” week of closures.
“The past several days have been challenging, and we cannot thank our customers, employees, vendors and neighbors enough for their patience, encouragement, and support,” the store wrote in a Facebook post. “Your kind messages, understanding and loyalty have meant more than you know.”
During the closure of the CalFresh location in SLO, a table was set out in front of the store, with fruit and coffee offered to customers stopping by to see if the grocery store was open yet.
California Fresh Market employees at the location declined to comment on the closure.
California Fresh Market is open every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information about the grocery store, visit its website at californiafreshmarket.com.
