Outage temporarily shuts down grocery chain’s stores in SLO County

The two California Fresh Market locations in San Luis Obispo County have temporarily closed their automatic sliding doors as of Wednesday due to its servers being down.

California Fresh Market on Foothill Boulevard in San Luis Obispo and on 5 Cities Drive in Pismo Beach are temporarily closed as of 10:30 a.m. due to a company-wide system outage, the supermarket announced in a Facebook post.

“The entire team thanks each of our treasured Central Coast communities for your patience and consideration, and we will do our best to keep you updated until this horrible inconvenience is resolved,” the post read.

The supermarkets experienced an internal computer system issue that prevented business operations in the stores, according to the Facebook post.

Updates as to when the stores will reopen will be on California Fresh Market social media platforms.
