Is SLO County getting a second Bath & Body Works store? Here’s what we know

A new Bath & Body Works appears to be coming to San Luis Obispo County — but details on the store remain scarce.

A trio of job listings on the Bath & Body Works website on Wednesday show the company — known for its lotions, soaps and candles — is searching for management employees for a store in Paso Robles’ The Crossing shopping center, where Target is located.

It’s unclear which space in the shopping center the business would take over, however. As of Tuesday, no signs were posted in the center alerting to a new Bath & Body Works location, and no address was included with the job listings.

What is that in SLO County?

According to a site plan for Gallelli Real Estate, which owns The Crossings, the only two vacant spaces are a 2,752-square-foot spot between Famous Footwear and Michael’s that used to be a Spectrum store and the 5,979-square-foot detached building that formerly housed Chili’s.

Other tenants in the shopping center include Target, Outdoor Supply Hardware and Ulta Beauty.

Requests for comment from Bath & Body Works and Gallelli Real Estate representatives were not returned Wednesday.

If the store opens, it would be the second Bath & Body Works location in San Luis Obispo County. The only current store is located at 842 Higuera St. in downtown San Luis Obispo.
