SLO County is getting a second Boot Barn store. Here’s where
A new Boot Barn store is coming to San Luis Obispo.
The popular western wear brand is opening its latest retail spot in the former location of Crushed Grape gift shop in the SLO Promenade shopping center, according to banners hung on the building.
Crushed Grape, located at 491 Madonna Road, closed at the end of May after 36 years.
The new Boot Barn will be the chain’s second location in San Luis Obispo County. The first opened at 1340 Spring St. in Paso Robles in 1996.
Boot Barn, based out of Irvine, opened its first location in 1978 and has since grown to 352 stores in 44 states, according to the company’s investor relations website.
In its most recent quarterly report, Boot Barn said it plans to open 52 new stores around the United States next year.
Requests for comment from Boot Barn on the new location were not immediately returned Tuesday.
