Vintage motel in downtown Paso Robles set to reopen with a whole new look

What’s old will be new again soon at the 1947 Farmhouse Motel in downtown Paso Robles.

Converted from a mid-20^th century motel to a chic, bed-and-breakfast-style lodging by the Nomada Hotel Group, the now-named Farmhouse Paso Robles features a compound made up of 26 separate cottages with communal firepits and fountains, plus citrus and olive trees.

A lobby market offers curated artisanal goods.

Rates based on double occupancy start at $219, plus a daily $20 amenity fee for continental breakfast, use of Linus bikes and overnight parking.

Rooms will be available as of May 9, according to the inn’s website.

The location at 425 Spring St. is within walking or biking distance of downtown Paso.

Nomada, based in San Luis Obispo, also owns and is renovating the River Lodge in Paso Robles. And it owns the Pozo Saloon, Granada Hotel & Bistro in San Luis Obispo and two Santa Ynez Valley lodgings.
