A new high-end hair salon is opening in SLO. And it has a free Champagne bar
A new high-end salon will be joining San Luis Obispo Public Market at Bonetti Ranch, and along with hair coloring and eye brow services, customers can get a complimentary glass of Champagne.
Owner Sammi-Jo Smith, a Grover Beach resident, said Central Coast Hair Co. will be her first business, though she has worked as a stylist for several years.
“This will be the first salon that I’ve owned and operated,” Smith said. “I’m hoping to open by the end of October or November. We are hoping to move quickly.”
The salon will offer luxury “blonding, balayage, all things color, extensions, spray tans, an enclosed washroom, Hydra Facials and hair education,” a SLO Public Market news release said.
Other services include a “full-service Brow Bar, set to offer powder brows, microblading, waxing and brow lamination.”
Central Coast Hair Co. also will offer group events for bridal parties, bachelorette parties, birthdays and more.
Smith specializes in blonding, platinum cards, lived-in blonde, and high-end coloring techniques.
Her store will have a full retail area with skincare, hot tools, jewelry, and Gigi Pip Hats, along with the complimentary Champagne Bar.
“I have been doing hair for nine years and have always dreamed of owning a high-end luxury salon, so I’ve decided to build one,” Smith told The Tribune.
She added: “I take my career very seriously. Since moving here (two years ago) I have been extremely blessed to have a completely full clientele. The beautiful women and men I have met make me feel like I am meant to be here. I look forward to walking through life with my clients and meeting more amazing souls.”
