Jocelyn Brennan has been named the new CEO for the joint Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach Chamber of Commerce.

Brennan will replace Judith Bean, who is set to retire after five years with the joint chamber; prior to that she was CEO of Arroyo Grande Chamber for seven years.

Brennan most recently served as district director for the 35th Assembly District, where she managed the district office and worked on constituent services, community events, coalition building, communications, economic development and legislation, according to a news release. The district includes all of San Luis Obispo County and Northern Santa Barbara County. Prior to that, she was legislative aide for the 4th District San Luis Obispo County Supervisor.

“I can think of no better way to honor the community I love than to serve the local employers and workforce who make up the fabric of our community,” Brennan said. “With many changes on the horizon for the future of our regional economy, it is more important than ever that our businesses are able to flourish so we can ensure the continued vibrancy of our local economy and community.”

Brennan’s first day will be Jan. 1.
