Valley-based bank opens new branch in Pismo Beach

Bank of the Sierra has opened its fifth San Luis Obispo County branch, this one in Pismo Beach.

The full-service branch is located at 1401 Dolliver St.

“Bank of the Sierra’s expansion along the coast will bring the benefits of a great community banking experience to the Pismo Beach market,” President and CEO Kevin McPhaill said in a news release. “We anticipate the new location will be a nice addition to the Pismo Beach community with its convenient range of amenities and accessibility.”

According to the release, Bank of the Sierra is in its 40th year of operations and is the largest independent bank headquartered in the South San Joaquin Valley.
