Meet Kai, a charming 4-year-old pit bull overflowing with love and filled with an unwavering zest for companionship. This affectionate sweetheart is on the lookout for her forever home and ready to bring joy and companionship to one lucky family.

Kai has been in foster for over a month, and her foster mom has learned all about her and has nothing but great things to say.

Kai is very people oriented and her friendly demeanor knows no bounds. According to her foster mom, Kai has never met a person she didn’t like. Kai often accompanies her foster mom to coffee shops or work meetings, and she’ll snuggle up against strangers’ legs or sit at people’s feet kindly asking for affection.

She is house-trained, great in the car, mellow and crate-trained. Her crate is her safe space, and she’ll go into it all by herself at night and throughout the day.

Currently, Kai is attending training classes with Tired Tails to work on becoming more comfortable around other dogs. She doesn’t bark or lunge at other dogs that causally pass by, but she can get nervous if they get too close to her and will need to be adopted into a single-dog household.

While Kai loves playing fetch and with toys, she is not a high-energy dog that needs intensive exercise. She’ll be perfectly content with a leisurely stroll or play session once a day. She’d do great with an owner that likes relaxation time and pittie snuggles.
