What's new: Target opening soon in Perris
Target, at long last, is opening at Perris Plaza in late July, taking the place of the former Regency movie theater.
The store, which was announced by the city of Perris in 2024 with an opening set for summer 2025, is opening at 1688 N. Perris Blvd., Building L.
The 150,112-square-foot store will bring a whole lot of merchandise under its familiar red-dot banner, plus add 152 jobs to the community.
Target will include a Starbucks café, CVS pharmacy, optical shop and an electronics niche dedicated to Apple products.
The retailer is also offering the usual services such as drive-up pickup, same-day delivery and ship-from-store options.

Temecula office building fetches $13.5 million
Jewell Capital LLC paid $13.5 million for a three‑building, multitenant industrial park spanning 68,073 square feet in Temecula.
The buildings at 40880, 40935 and 40945 County Center Drive sit on two parcels, which CBRE says will provide flexibility for potential future sales of each building.
CBRE represented the seller, South La Brea LLC.
"Investor demand for well‑leased, multi‑tenant industrial properties in Temecula remains strong due to the market's low vacancy and long‑term growth fundamentals," said Matt Pourcho, an executive vice president at CBRE. "This asset's stable rent roll, below‑market rents and flexible parcel configuration made it especially attractive to buyers focused on durable income with future upside."
The industrial park was nearly fully leased at the time it sold, according to CBRE.
Rancho Cucamonga retail center nabs $6 million
Allmark Plaza in Rancho Cucamonga sold in recent days for $6 million.
The plaza, built in 1986 without a traditional anchor store, is at 10060-10080 Arrow Route.
It was fully leased when it sold. That tenant mix includes Domino's, a nutrition shop, mini-mart, Mexican restaurant, diet center, salon, donut shop, day spa, dry cleaners and a dental office.
Progressive Real Estate Partners represented the buyer. Allmark Property Management, the seller, represented itself.
"The buyer was attracted to Allmark Plaza because it checked the boxes that matter most in today's market: strong historical occupancy, replaceable rents, a diverse rent roll, and a quality Rancho Cucamonga location," said Lance Mordachini, vice president of Investment Sales at Progressive.
