Mini Dachshund Playing With Bubbles Is as Adorable as You'd Expect
Some pet parents love finding new and creative ways to keep their pups engaged and active. One Dachshund mom recently discovered her pup's love of soapy bubbles and shared an adorable TikTok video capturing his pure joy.
Franklin, the Dachshund, is one lucky 1-year-old with a human who clearly loves making the most of their time together. During a recent backyard play session, the Doxie discovered the joy of bubbles-and honestly, he was giving full-on toddler-with-a-bubble-machine energy, and he was adorable.

My little chompers - idiot
The clip begins with bubbles floating in from every direction toward the excited pup. Franklin eagerly tries to "play" with them, with several popping right on his face and nose. Franklin is clearly in soapy bubble heaven, and the cartoon Pac-Man-style chomping sound effect makes the whole video even funnier.
As the bubbles float around and the Doxie plays with them, he gives off strong toddler vibes. In my opinion, it's impossible not to smile while watching this TikTok video. There's something so pure and wholesome about watching babies and pups enjoy the simple things in life.
Why Do Dogs Like Playing With Bubbles?
Blowing bubbles for your dog is an easy, inexpensive way to provide the daily enrichment their brains need. This type of playtime gives high-energy dogs an outlet for their excitement while providing cognitive stimulation at the same time.
According to a recent post by PUPS Pet Club, there are five reasons doggies love playing with bubbles. They include: Encouraging physical activity and keeping dogs active. Popping bubbles boosts a dog's mental stimulation and natural curiosity.
They further suggest that bubbles are a great way for pups to interact with each other, creating a playful, cooperative environment. Apparently, the lighthearted nature of bubble play can also help calm nervous dogs and promote natural stress relief.
Lastly, it's just plain fun for the dogs to use their natural instincts to chase floating bubbles. Honestly, it's an instant mood booster!
