Where to see Christmas lights in San Luis Obispo County
While many San Luis Obispo County residents show off their holiday spirit with displays during Christmas, some are so good, they stop traffic.
Others are parts of entire neighborhoods, like Vine Street in Paso Robles.
The best cover their homes, fill their yards and even incorporate music.
Here are a few of our favorite locations, along with others shared on social media:
San Luis Obispo
1902 Chorro St.: Lights animated to songs from a radio station, including the picket fence.
1619 Pereira Drive: Sheets of lights cover almost ever surface at this home. It also has a mini golf course.
Arroyo Grande
423 Greenwood: Music and lights.
Starlight Lane: Music and lights in a red-and-green theme.
Mason Street: Charlie Brown, a snowman and other figures decorate a compact yard.
Atascadero
Corner of Curbaril and Marchant: A herd of lit deer and other features, with music.
Atascadero Lake: Many homes around the lake put up lights, but the best are on Marchant Way on the west side.
Paso Robles
Vine Street: Historic homes decorated for the season.
Cambria
2905 Burton Drive: Annual display of thousands of lights at Cambria Pines Lodge, admission required.

We got some tips from readers on social media as well. They suggested Apricot Lane in Nipomo, 192 Sandbar Court in Paso Robles and 5th Street at Old Country Road, across from the park in Templeton.
