Alexa Demie Stuns in Backless Dress During Rare Appearance at Fashion Show

Alexa Demie knows how to make an entrance.

All eyes were on the Euphoria star, 35, when she arrived at Chanel's fall 2026 couture show in Paris on Tuesday, July 7, marking a rare public appearance for the actress.

Demie effortlessly channeled the polished confidence that fans loved from her character Maddy Perez, wearing a timeless black halter-neck dress with elegant detailing and a backless design from the brand. The floor-length number featured a plunging V-neckline and figure-skimming silhouette, as well as a sparkling floral crystal brooch which cinched the fabric at her hip.

She styled her hair in a voluminous, tousled updo with loose, face-framing pieces and opted for a simple yet chic makeup look with glowing skin, defined brows and a muted nude lip.

Demie completed her ensemble with statement chandelier earrings and black pointed-toe heels.

While at the event, the star revealed the items she would love to raid from Maddy's closet.

Demie told The Perfect Magazine that Maddy's orange Jean Paul Gualtier set with fur-trimmed collar and cuffs would be a definite pick, as would the "leather lace-up jacket" that she wore in Alamo's Silver Slippers strip club.

Speaking of her iconic role, Demie previously told The Rolling Stone, "[Maddy] can appear larger than life, and I think she brings a lot of something to people."

"That was frustrating for me the first two seasons, because there were people who would say … ‘Oh, she's not acting, that's just who she is.' That couldn't have been further from the truth," Demie added. "That was a bit frustrating, but I also can't be upset because I never really showed people or let people in. Naturally, I'm just really private."

It's been a few months since season 3 of Euphoria came to an official end on May 31. Creator, writer and director Sam Levinson confirmed the hit show was over for good in an announcement made on "Popcast" after seven years, three seasons and 26 episodes.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who played strip club mogul and crime boss Alamo in the series, exclusively weighed in on the possibility of Euphoria continuing with more seasons while speaking with Us Weekly around the finale.

"This is TV," he told Us. "There's always a world in which it could - if they wanted to - [they could explore the world more]. Whether they want to or not … I don't know."
