Nick Viall and Wife Natalie Joy Welcome Twins After Miscarriages
Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, are officially outnumbered following the birth of their twins.
"Dove Tomlin Viall and Iris Parker Viall," the couple wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 3, alongside the first look at their newborns. "Our rainbow babies."
Nick, 45, and Natalie, 27, are already parents of daughter River, whom they welcomed in February 2024.
The couple announced in February that they had two babies on the way.
"Our rainbow babies are finally ready to join us and this time it's TWINS 🌈🌈," they wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time.
In the accompanying photos, Viall and Joy - who have been married since April 2024 - posed with River as they held up sonogram images of their twins and Joy cradled her bare baby bump.
The news came after Joy suffered three miscarriages in the previous year. She revealed in March 2025 that she experienced her second pregnancy loss just two months after her first.
"While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again," she wrote via her Instagram Story at the time. "It took some time for me to accept what had happened only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast."
After feeling "so much happiness" amid her second pregnancy, Joy was heartbroken when she had another miscarriage.
"We were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude. [Then], this past week, I miscarried again," she shared. "I underwent a D&C this time, which was harder than I imagined."
In August 2025, Joy took some time away from "The Viall Files" podcast after suffering a third miscarriage.
"As you can see, Natalie is not with us. There's no easy way to talk about this. … Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage," Viall told listeners at the time. "It's her third this year, our third this year. There's no really good way to say it - it f***ing sucks. She's obviously at home resting, healing, both physically and emotionally."
He continued, "It's been a whirlwind and we're trying to get through it as a family. Part of this challenge is still appreciating what we have, having River, and life goes on. It's all very confusing how you're supposed to mourn something like this … but we appreciate your support."
In December 2025, Joy reflected on her and Viall's difficult year while looking forward to their future.
"The year that was full of heartbreak but I've never felt more loved ❤️🩹❤️ 2025 was growth and that is all I can ask for," she wrote via Instagram. "Excited for 2026 with my people."
Before becoming a family of five, Joy celebrated daughter River's birthday, reflecting on her deep bond with her eldest child amid her fertility struggles.
"My miracle baby is TWO!!!" she captioned an Instagram tribute to River in February. "I say miracle because I've now learned how truly difficult my body makes it to carry a baby and for whatever reason, the universe handed her to us on a silver platter. I am better because of you, I am better for you my sweet baby girl."
