This new chicken restaurant is giving out free sliders in SLO. Here’s how to get one
In celebration of its anniversary, Dave’s Hot Chicken is giving customers around the United States a free chicken slider this week — including in San Luis Obispo.
The spicy chicken restaurant, which calls itself “the fastest growing restaurant chain in America,” is celebrating its sixth anniversary as a company on Tuesday.
That day, customers will be eligible for a free slider at any Dave’s Hot Chicken location. Their sliders include crispy fried chicken, secret sauce, pickles and slaw.
To get one, just download the Dave’s Hot Chicken app, and a free slider will automatically be added to your rewards, the company said.
Meanwhile, founders Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, Gary Rubenyan and Tommy Rubenyan will all participate that same day in a one-night-only pop-up event in the East Hollywood parking lot where the spicy chicken chain began, according to a release.
“Six years ago, four friends created something phenomenal, and on May 2 we’ll be celebrating that success by making sure everyone has the ability to enjoy Dave’s, whether you’ve been visiting since the parking lot pop-up days or have just been wanting to give the best hot chicken on the planet a try,” CEO Bill Phelps said in the release.
Dave’s Hot Chicken opened in the Madonna Plaza in San Luis Obispo in June 2022.
