These are your 10 favorite pizza places in SLO County — but which is the absolute best?
More than 40 pizza places entered, only 10 remain.
In our search for the perfect slice of ‘za, The Tribune asked you all to vote to determine your favorite pizza place in all of San Luis Obispo County. You certainly delivered (pizza pun intended).
In more than 24,000 responses, a clear Top 10 has emerged:
- Benny’s Pizza Palace and Social Club: 9,236 votes
- Marv’s Pizza: 7,822 votes
- Nardonne’s: 4,982 votes
- Palo Mesa Pizza: 1,178 votes
- Bear and the Wren: 826 votes
- Petra Mediterranean Pizza and Grill: 452 votes
- Fatte’s Pizza: 436 votes
- Klondike Pizza: 422 votes
- Bravo Pizza Plus: 421 votes
- Flour House: 406 votes
Benny’s — the Detroit-style pizza business with a cult following that opened in San Luis Obispo last year — may have brought in the most votes in Round 1, but now that the field of contenders has narrowed, will it still emerge victorious? Will long-established faves like Nardonne’s or Palo Mesa make a run at the title? Or how about someone unexpected?
We’re resetting the votes for Round 2, and now it’s up to you to decide which is the very best pizza joint in SLO County.
