Stores sold out of toilet paper? One San Luis Obispo County restaurant has a solution.

Starting Friday, Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ in Paso Robles will hand out free rolls of toilet paper with orders of food from its new menu, according to a news release.

The restaurant will give away one roll of bathroom tissue per food item, with a limit of five rolls per customer, the release said.

“We have your back,” the restaurant said.

Restaurant owner Roger Sharp said in the release that he was inspired to offer free TP after he “noticed the toilet paper shortage in town caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.”

Concerns over the coronavirus outbreak have left items including hand sanitizers, antibacterial wipes and masks in short supply in stores across San Luis Obispo County.

Luckily, Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ “had the good fortune of acquiring a MASSIVE amount of toilet paper to offer our guests,” according to the release.

The restaurant will honor its offer of free bathroom tissue “as long as supplies last or until our local stores can replenish their inventory,” the restaurant said in the release.

Big Bubba’s Bad BBQ is located at 1124 24th St. in Paso Robles. For more information, call 805-238-6272 or visit www.bigbubbasbadbbq.com.
