Donavon Frankenreiter to play indie rock concert in San Luis Obispo
Professional surfer-turned-musician Donavon Frankenreiter will perform next month in San Luis Obispo.
He will take the stage June 21 at Tap It Brewing Co. Santa Barbara surfer and musician Tom Curren will open the show.
Frankenreiter, whose songs include “Call Me Papa,” “It Don’t Matter” and “Move by Yourself,” started surfing professionally as a teenager. He launched his career as a solo recording artist with the release of his self-titled album in 2004.
He’s currently touring to promote his sixth full-length studio album “The Heart,” released in 2015. It’s his follow-up to 2012’s “Start Livin’.”
Tickets for the 21-and-older show cost $22 to $25, and can be purchased via Tap It Brewing.
