Eclectic country band The Mavericks will perform this fall in San Luis Obispo.
The Grammy Award-winning group, known for its blend of neo-traditional country, Latin and rockabilly influences, will take the stage Sept. 20 at the Fremont Theatre.
Fronted by lead singer Raul Malo, The Mavericks recorded six studio albums between 1991 and 2003 before parting ways in 2004. They reunited in 2012 and released two more albums, 2012’s “In Time” and 2015’s “Mono.”
The band’s biggest hits include “All You Ever Do Is Bring Me Down,” “Here Comes the Rain” and “Dance the Night Away.”
