Boy George and Culture Club will bring the 1980s back to Paso Robles this summer.

The “Karma Chameleon” singer and his Grammy Award-winning group are slated to perform Aug. 20 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre.

Boy George and Culture Club led the New Romantic pop music movement in the late 1970s and early ’80s with hits including “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me” and “Time (Clock of the Heart).” Boy George launched his solo career after the British band broke up in 1986.

Boy George currently serves as a coach on the British television show “The Voice UK.”

Tickets for the Aug. 20 concert cost $55 to $95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Vina Robles Amphitheatre is at Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery, 3800 Mill Road. For information, call 227-4812 or visit www.vinaroblesamphitheatre.com.
