John Hiatt to perform solo in San Luis Obispo
Country-rock singer-songwriter John Hiatt returns to the Central Coast next month for a solo acoustic show.
The Grammy Award nominee, whose hits include “Crossing Muddy Waters,” “Have a Little Faith in Me” and “Thing Called Love,” will perform March 11 at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo.
Hiatt’s songs have been covered by many artists including Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Roseanne Cash, Willie Nelson and Iggy Pop.
The singer-songwriter, who released his latest album, “Terms of My Surrender,” in 2014, is a regular visitor to San Luis Obispo County.
He performed with his band, The Combo, in 2013 at the Clark Center for the Performing Arts in Arroyo Grande. And he played The Graduate in San Luis Obispo in 2008.
Tickets for Hiatt’s March 11 concert are $40.
