Portland Cello Project

What: Known for blending genres and blurring musical boundaries, this all-cello group covers repertoire ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to Radiohead to Kanye West.

When: 8 p.m. Friday

Where: Cultural and Performing Arts Center, Cuesta College, Highway 1, north of San Luis Obispo

“Baroque in the Vines”

What: Hear baroque masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frideric Handel and Antonio Vivaldi at this enchanting private chapel in the heart of wine country.

When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday

Colcannon

What: Celtic band Colcannon headlines two events on Sunday — “The Pooka and the Fiddler,” a family concert combining traditional Irish music and storytelling, and a regular concert featuring authentic Celtic tunes.

When: 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday

Where: See Canyon Fruit Ranch, 2345 See Canyon Road, Avila Beach

“Mozart in the Mission”

What: Violinist Kristin Lee joins the Festival Orchestra for this concert showcasing the works of classical composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Where: Mission San Luis Obispo, 751 Palm St., San Luis Obispo

How much: $41 to $75

“Classical Musicians Doing Un-Classical Things”

What: Bassist Sue Cahill and pianist John Novacek lead this lively concert, which features bluegrass, classical, pop, ragtime and a special jazz tribute to Duke Ellington.
