2 famed Latino rock bands coming to Paso Robles this summer
Two legendary Latino rock bands are brining their combined tour to Paso Robles for a concert this summer.
Los Lobos and Los Lonely Boys will return to Vina Robles Amphitheatre on Saturday, Aug. 1, as a part of their joint Brotherhood Tour, the concert venue announced in a news release.
Across five decades, Los Lobos celebrates four Grammy Awards, 17 recorded studio albums, No. 1 hit songs like their iconic 1987 cover of “La Bamba“ and over 100 live concerts.
The Mexican American rock group from Eastern Los Angeles has been recognized by Congress and inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame, only a few of its many honors over a rich career.
Their music is influenced by blues, jazz, and rock-and-roll as well as traditional Latin music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños. With all five original members of the band continue to tour together.
Los Lobos will be joined on stage by another Latino group that combines “Texican” rock-and-roll with soul: Los Lonely Boys.
The literal band of brothers from San Angelo, Texas, made history with their breakout hit “Heaven” from its 2003 debut album, which reached No. 1 and garnered a Grammy for the trio, selling over 2 million copies.
How to get tickets to see Los Lobos and Los Lonely Boys
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on Ticketmaster, but an early bird offer will launch on at 10 a.m. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Sunday offering 20% off all regular ticket prices excluding VIP and Platinum tickets, the release said.
Vina Robles has not yet released ticket prices for this concert.
