Want to sing the national anthem at the fair? Here’s your chance
Love to sing? The California Mid-State Fair is searching for local vocalists to sing the national anthem this summer in Paso Robles.
Selected singers will take the stage prior to the start of shows at the fair’s Main Grandstand Arena.
To apply, fill out an online form with contact information and submit a YouTube video of yourself singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” a cappella. The form can be found at www.cognitoforms.com/CaliforniaMidStateFair2/NationalAnthem.
All applications must be received by 5 p.m. June 25. Applicants will be notified via email once the national anthem singers have been chosen.
The California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 to 31 at the Paso Robles Event Center, 2198 Riverside Ave. in Paso Robles. For more information, call 800-909-FAIR (3247) or visit www.midstatefair.com.
