Country star Keith Urban will return this summer to the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

Urban is slated to perform July 29 at the Paso Robles Event Center with opening act Kelsea Ballerini, who released her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” in September.

Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Urban has won four Grammy Awards and released seven studio albums since moving to the United States in 1992. Recent hits include “Little Bit of Everything,” “Without You” and “We Were Us,” featuring Miranda Lambert.

Urban, who is married to actress Nicole Kidman, currently serves as a judge on the reality competition series “American Idol.” He’s a frequent visitor to Paso Robles, having previously performed at the fair in 2002, 2006 and 2010.

Tickets to Urban’s July 29 concert cost $41 to $96 and go on sale April 24.
