Want to sing the national anthem at the Mid-State Fair? Here’s your chance

Love to sing? The California Mid-State Fair is seeking local vocalists to sing the national anthem this summer in Paso Robles.

Selected singers will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the start of shows at the fair’s Main Grandstand Arena.

To apply, fill out an online form with contact information and submit a YouTube video of yourself singing the national anthem a cappella.

The form can be found at http://bit.ly/2rAHTDh.

All forms must be received by 5 p.m. June 29 to be considered. Applicants will be notified via email once the singers have been selected.

The California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 through 30 at the Paso Robles Event Center. For more information, visit www.midstatefair.com.
