Garth Brooks to perform at the Mid-State Fair
Country legend Garth Brooks will perform at the Mid-State Fair this year for the first time ever.
The concert, which also features his wife, Trisha Yearwood, is Thursday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The country singer, whose hits include “Friends in Low Places” and “Unanswered Prayers,” has been certified as the top-selling solo artists in U.S. history by the Recording Industry Association of America, with more than 149 million album sales, according to a news release. He has also been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, the International Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame.
Tickets go on sale June 23 at 10 a.m., and they cost $73.98 plus a $6 service charge. Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or by calling Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000.
