Guy Fieri is coming to SLO. How to meet celebrity chef — and get a signed bottle of tequila

The Mayor of Flavortown is coming to San Luis Obispo this week.

Celebrity chef and Food Network host Guy Fieri will sign bottles of his tequila, Santo, at Costco on Wednesday, according to a sign posted in the 1540 Froom Ranch Way store.

The signing is scheduled for 5 to 6 p.m. but will go only as long as supplies last. Bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the sign, and participants must be 21 or older.

Fieri has been spotted at a number of Costcos throughout the state in recent weeks as he promotes the brand. According to its website, Santo was founded by Fieri and rocker Sammy Hagar as a way to honor “the old soul of Mexico.”

As of Tuesday, a bottle of Santo tequila cost between $32 and $42 at the San Luis Obispo Costco.
