David Cross to bring standup comedy act to SLO
Comedian David Cross will perform in San Luis Obispo this spring.
Cross is slated to take the stage May 13 at the Performing Arts Center as part of his Making America Great Again! tour.
An Emmy Award-winning actor and writer whose television credits include “Arrested Development” and “The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret,” Cross created the influential sketch comedy series “Mr. Show with Bob and David” with Bob Odenkirk. The pair launched a new sketch comedy show, “W/ Bob and David,” last year on Netflix.
Cross has appeared in films including “Waiting for Guffman,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Year One” and the “Men in Black” series. In addition, he’s lent his voice to animated movies including “Curious George,” “Megamind” and the “Kung Fu Panda” series.
Tickets for Cross’ May 13 show cost $35 to $45, and go on sale at noon Friday. (Due to adult content and language, the show is recommended for ages 17 and up.)
