Send us your poems
Do you have something to say? Here’s your chance to have your voice heard.
This spring, The Tribune is celebrating National Poetry Month by inviting folks from across the Central Coast to share their best original poems.
San Luis Obispo County poet laureate Marguerite Costigan will read the entries and select her favorites. We’ll publish those poems in April in this section.
To submit a poem for consideration, San Luis Obispo County residents should send two copies — one with your name, age, city of residence and daytime phone number, and another without any identification for judging.
Although all kinds of poems are welcome, poems must be 22 lines or less.
Please limit entries to one poem per person.
Poems must be received by Monday, Feb. 29.
Send your poem to: From Soul to Paper, The Tribune, P.O. Box 112, San Luis Obispo, CA 93406. For more information, call Sarah Linn at 781-7907 or email slinn@thetribunenews.com.
