Pippa Middleton dons breezy dress at Wimbledon, Kate visits hospital
Pippa Middleton embraced a breezy summer look while attending Wimbledon in London.
The 42-year-old, the younger sister of Catherine, Princess of Wales, joined her mother, Carole Middleton, in the Royal Box on Monday, July 6.
Pippa opted for a lightweight Reformation maxi dress featuring a plunging white bodice adorned with red floral prints, short puff sleeves and a fitted empire waist that flowed into a softly flared skirt. She completed the warm-weather ensemble with oversized black sunglasses and a woven straw clutch.
Among other notable attendees were retired tennis stars Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss. Benedict Cumberbatch, Bad Bunny and David Beckham also have made appearances in recent days.
While Princess Kate did not attend with her mother and sister, she was carrying out royal duties at Evelina London Children's Hospital, where she learned about new advances in patient care and support for families. That includes an upcoming partnership with specialists from the Royal Marsden hospital, where she underwent chemotherapy.
"From innovative cardiac services to plans for a new children's hospital and future cancer centre, it was inspiring to meet the dedicated teams, patients and families helping shape the next generation of children's healthcare," she captioned an Instagram photo.
What has Princess Kate said about her cancer?
The princess did make an appearance at Wimbledon last week. On July 2, she handed out tickets to fans and watched the action alongside former British tennis players Tim Henman, Andy Murray and Anne Keothavong. She wore a bright blue double-breasted suit styled with a sleek ponytail.
The sisters last attended Wimbledon together in 2024, when Princess Charlotte joined them in the Royal Box. Princess Kate's appearance drew a standing ovation from spectators, as it was one of her first public outings after revealing earlier that year that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
The princess announced in 2025 that her cancer was in remission and has continued to support cancer research and patient care.
Most recently, she shared that she climbed the three highest peaks in Great Britain in 24 hours to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, describing the challenge in a June 28 Instagram post as "a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back."
The charity supports the hospital where she received cancer treatment.
"Lots of people have asked me why I'm doing this challenge, and partly it's personal. I'm so grateful to be here, to be strong enough to walk these hills," she said in a follow-up Instagram video. "But, more importantly, it's to give something back and acknowledge really all the incredible work going on up and down this country."
