2026 Emmy nominations – See the full list of nominees (updating live)

The 2026 Emmy nominations are finally here.

With the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards just two months away, nominees for television's biggest night were announced on Wednesday, July 8.

Ahead of the nominations ceremony, which streamed live, the "Today" show revealed honorees in two categories: outstanding variety series and outstanding reality competition program. (See below for the contenders.)

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" earned recognition in the variety series category, two months after the CBS late-night talk show officially signed off in May following its cancellation. "The Late Show" walked away with a pair of statuettes at last year's ceremony for outstanding talk series and outstanding directing for a variety series.

Where to watch the Emmy nominations

On Wednesday, Liza Colón-Zayas ("The Bear") and Jeff Hiller ("Widow's Bay") announced nods in additional categories. The ceremony streamed live on the Emmys website (11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT).

Who is hosting the Emmys?

The 2026 Emmy Awards are set to take place on Sept. 14 (8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT) and will air live on NBC and Peacock. It was announced on July 7 that Emmy-winning "Law & Order: SVU" star Mariska Hargitay will host the ceremony taking place at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater.
