'Big Brother' Season 28 cast revealed – Meet the 14 new houseguests

"Love Island" may end this month, but reality TV summer is just getting started as it's almost time to leave the villa and enter the "Big Brother" house.

"Big Brother" revealed the cast for Season 28, featuring 14 new contestants competing in the ultimate social strategy game for a grand prize of $750,000.

This season's cast includes an MMA fighter, rocket scientist, game show host, vineyard executive, daughter of an '80s pop star, and a Drag Race All-Star, among others.

"This new group of houseguests is stepping into a summer where nothing is as it seems, where every twist rewrites the rules, and where time becomes the ultimate twist," CBS said in a statement.

The new season, billed as the "biggest season yet," will take viewers through nearly 90 days of head-of-household nominations, veto competitions and live eviction votes, most of which will be available to watch through the long-running 24-hour live feeds. This season will also include a milestone 1,000th original episode, the first primetime series to achieve this, according to CBS.

The theme for this season is "Time Trip," which embraces an "aesthetic that incorporates decades like the '80s and Y2K, as well as themed twists and challenges," per CBS.

"Houseguests will enter a world where rooms, relics and competitions transport them across moments in time, while early twists shake up the game from the start," the network said.

The "Big Brother" house encapsulates the theme with features like Time-Bending Entryway, Living Room of Eras, Clockwork Bathroom, an Artifact Bedroom and Futuristic Sleep Pods Room.
