Paddleboarders capture up-close video of great white sharks at California beach

Anything for a good video, right?

A pair of Southern California stand-up paddleboarders took this notion to heart when they captured video of a small group of great white sharks hanging close to the Huntington Beach shore last Friday.

According to the Orange County Register, the bold men went specifically to see the sharks which have been congregating in the area for the last couple months.

Joseph Trucksess, the man who shot the video on his GoPro, told the Register the juvenile white sharks ranged from 4 to 7 feet long.

"Dude, that's so intense," Trucksess says in the video posted to YouTube.

Intense, indeed.
