The Paso Robles boys cross-country team took first at the PAC 8 Midseason meet held in Santa Maria at the Elks Event Center on Thursday. The Bearcats finished with a team score of 36 and were led by Luis Armendariz, who had a time of 15 minutes 49 seconds, and Trad Berti (15:54) on the 3-mile course.
Arroyo Grande was second (58), and San Luis Obispo was fourth (99), led by Callum Bolger, who won the race in a time of 15:04. Matt White was 10th for the Tigers (16:20) and Kobi Kelly was 12th (16:30).
Atascadero was sixth (119) and Mission Prep finished eighth (235).
San Luis Obispo won the girls race with a score of 46, edging out Arroyo Grande on a tiebreaker. The tiebreaking runner was San Luis Obispo’s Cindy Miettinen, who was 19th overall at 20:14. The Tigers were led by Hope Morgan, who was fourth in 19:36, and Eliza Lewis who was seventh (19:34). Alexis Lewis was eighth in 19:34, Jenny Grady ninth (19:36) and Sierra Nunes 18th (20:13).

The Bearcats’ Ashley Davis won in a time of 18:33. Paso Robles finished fourth overall with a 78.
Atascadero was third (72), and Mission Prep was eighth (217).
