Madison Romero went the distance in the circle for the Bearcats, allowing three hits and no walks with six strikeouts.
Becca Twyman went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI, and Jenna Rogers was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Chloe Kerns also had a double and three RBI for Paso Robles (5-2, 1-0 PAC 8).
Sally Bowles allowed five runs — two earned — on seven hits and had five strikeouts for Atascadero (4-7, 0-1). Kaila Herzig, Sarah Wulff, and Megan McClain all singled for the Greyhounds.
Righetti 7, San Luis Obispo 2
Bee Soll had an RBI and Campbell Warren doubled for the Tigers (6-4, 0-1 PAC 8), who were three-hit by Righetti.
Sam Good pitched a complete game for San Luis Obispo, allowing two earned runs and four walks with three strikeouts.
Nipomo 20, Santa Ynez 4
Bri Sa went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double and four RBI, and Gannae Abatti went 4 for 5 with two doubles and five RBI for the Titans (4-4, 2-1 Los Padres League).
Jourdan Reynolds had four RBI and was 2 for 3 with a triple, and Kate Russell had a double and three RBI.
Morro Bay 6, Lompoc 5
Trailing 5-0 entering the fifth, the Pirates (3-7-1, 2-1 LPL) rallied, scoring six runs over the next two innings for the win.
Alyssa Noriega had two hits and two runs, and Lexi Beaman had two hits and two RBI.
Kendall Schemmer pitched a complete game, allowing one earned run with seven strikeouts.

Kat Cline had an RBI single, which scored Katie Murphee, for Templeton (2-4, 1-2 LPL).

Ellie Magnuson pitched a one-hit shutout and also had an RBI double for the Broncos (3-6, 1-0 Coast Valley League).

Nolan Binkele went five innings with two hits, no walks and four strikeouts as the defending league champion Bearcats (6-0) opened PAC 8 play with a win.
Matt Keller drove home Bailey Gaither in the first inning, and Tyler Ridino stole home later in the frame for the only two runs of the game.
Holden Nix pitched a complete game with five strikeouts for Atascadero (2-4, 0-1), and Spencer Erdman hit a pair of singles.
San Luis Obispo 13, Righetti 4
Jeremy Jess and Brandon Mallory both doubled twice and drove in three runs as the Tigers scored 10 runs in the first three innings and overcame five errors to win their league opener.
Jess also pitched 52⁄3 innings, allowing eight hits, two walks and four runs — one earned — with four strikeouts.
Jake Wynn, Connor Maydole and Ben Lemiere each had multiple-hit performances for San Luis Obispo (5-1) as well.

Ryan Teixeira hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning, and Cole Ramey went 51⁄3 innings with four strikeouts on the mound for the Eagles (3-3, 1-0 PAC 8).
Joey DeLaRosa was 2 for 4 with two runs, and Braydon Pinkerton was 2 for 4 with an RBI for Arroyo Grande.
Renn Duncan singled home a run for Mission Prep (2-2, 0-1).
Lompoc 11, Morro Bay 6
Rajan Singh and Westin Mace both had two walks and two hits apiece for the Pirates (4-5, 1-2 LPL) in the loss.
Mace drove in two runs, and Singh added an RBI as well. Will Unks hit a pinch-hit, two-run single for Morro Bay.

Justin Altamirano drove in a run, but the Eagles fell on a walkoff hit.
Jordan Bernal pitched six innings, allowing five hits and one earned run with two strikeouts. Mac Lardner pitched the seventh and took the loss for Templeton (4-6, 2-1 LPL).

Donnie O’Henley singled, and Jose Lopez also had a pinch-hit single for Nipomo (3-8, 0-3 LPL).

Sean O’Conner registered 32 assists, 14 digs and three aces as the Royals (4-2) won 25-22, 25-21, 16-25, 25-14.
James McKiernan added 14 kills, four digs and an ace, and Paul Tompkins had 11 kills, nine digs and an ace.

Spencer Cecil had 14 kills, 13 digs and five blocks in the Pirates’ 25-14, 25-8, 25-16 victory.
Seth Ingan added 15 assists and a pair of aces for Morro Bay (3-2, 1-1 LPL).

Keegan Hartman and Daniel Lavery both had six kills as the Titans (1-6, 1-1 LPL) got their first win of the season, 25-21, 25-22, 26-24.
Lavery added five blocks, and Cody Allred had five kills.

Joseph Goryance and Tyler Tencati swept their doubles sets, and Andrew Arcangel also swept in singles as the Eagles (7-4, 2-1 PAC 8) won all nine doubles sets.
Mayer Pohlod dropped a set 6-1 but won his next two 6-2, 6-3 for the Bearcats.
San Luis Obispo 17, Pioneer Valley 1
Noah Cleere won 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, and Guillermo Bonnet won 6-0, 6-0, 6-0 for the Tigers.
Each of the doubles teams for the Tigers (10-3, 4-0 PAC 8) swept as well.

Brendan Adams swept his singles sets 6-1, 6-0, 6-3, as the Greyhounds (9-3, 3-0 PAC 8) edged the Warriors in games won.
The doubles tandem of Luke Reilly and Christian Wisberg won two of three sets for Atascadero.

Jon Johnson swept in singles play, and the doubles team of Humberto Ponce and Justin Way won two of three for Nipomo (1-8, 1-5 LPL).
