The Mission Prep boys basketball team went on the road and beat Polytechnic High in Pasadena 72-38 Saturday.
Quinton Adlesh led the Royals (16-4) with 22 points, including 14 in the third quarter, and dished out five assists.
Kyle Stewart had a team-high seven rebounds.
Paso Robles boys fall to St. Joseph
On Friday night, Anthony Spencer had 13 points and Jaylon Davis scored 12 for the Paso Robles boys basketball team (10-9, 2-4 PAC 7), but the Bearcats lost 65-53 to St. Joseph.
Mixed water polo results in Oxnard
At the Oxnard Tournament on Saturday, the San Luis Obispo girls water polo team defeated Santa Maria 11-3 and lost to St. Julia Donath.
Addie Foster had six goals against Santa Maria, and Emily Lovato had three. Anna Mullen had 12 saves for the Tigers (6-11), who had two goals from Lovato and 13 saves from Mullen in the loss to St. Julia Donat.
Atascadero beat Paso Robles 12-6 as it scored eight goals in the first half. Hannah Livengood scored three goals for the Greyhounds (18-6), and Emily and Kylie Ferree both scored two goals.
Atascadero also edged Santa Ynez 8-7, as Courtney McCarthy and Emma Seitzer each had three goals and Lauren Giggy had nine saves. The Greyhounds also beat Pacifica as the two Ferrees, Livengood and Seitzer all had two goals, and Giggy had six saves.
Morro Bay (1-8) lost 7-4 to Pioneer Valley and beat Camarillo 11-7 for its first win of the season.
Katie White had six goals, and Tori White had four in the win over Camarillo. Tori White had three goals in the loss to Pioneer Valley.

Grace Oeser recorded 10 saves for the Mission Prep girls soccer team in a 3-0 loss to Bishop Diego.
